Today, I'm going to talk about electronic engineering which is the branch of engineering. Electronics engineering uses the electrical and electronics components like a semiconductors, diodes, integrated circuits and transistors. Electronic engineers design electronic circuits, PCBs, microprocessors, microchips and microcontrollers. Also, the engineers are programming microprocessors and microcontrollers.
Electronics engineering and electrical engineering is a similar field and the branches and they need to each other too many fields. The simplest example is the electronic cards and PCBs need to suitable electric current to run regularly. PCB means Printed circuit board and electronic engineers design and print the cards. Electrical engineers must test and analyze a device’s power consumption and calculate the required power.
Electronic engineers can be focused different areas. For instance; electronics of control systems, telecommunication electronics, digital electronics can be listed. In the control systems field, electronic engineers work on the modelling, design controllers and focus signal processing fields. In telecommunication electronics engineers, focus the fields of transmission, processing of information and electromagnetism fields. The other field is digital electronics, the electronic engineers who work on the field need to know and focus of the microelectronics, hardware engineering, embedded systems, signal processing and image processing. They need to have knowledge about in the software field to learn about these topics.
On the other hand, electronic engineers are familiar with such topics as "analog electronic digital consumer electronic consumer embedded systems and power electronics". To become electronic engineering, student must know these fields; “solid-state physics, radio engineering, telecommunications, control systems, signal processing, systems engineering, computer engineering, instrumentation engineering, electric power control, robotics “.
The last but not the least thing which I would like to mention about, The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (Also known as IEEE) is one of the most important and influential organizations for electronics engineers.
